“Just mention the name and that’s enough to make the face of every Aprilia lover on the old continent light up in a smile under his helmet: the Stelvio Pass. If, on top of it all, you also happen to be a twist and turn fanatic like we members of the #bearacer club are, then you know that every year you have a fixed date with some of the most famous hairpin bends in the Alps and with one of the wildest rallies of the year: the Stelvio International Rally.
On Friday 30 June 2017 we gathered at the Aprilia stand in the rally village in Sondalo to unleash 3 days of fun in pure racer style, sharing our passion for bikes and adrenalin with bikers from all around Europe.

#bearacer club @ 41° Raduno Stelvio InternationalStep one: testing the performance of the mind blowing Tuono V4 1100 Factory My 2017 and the agility of the very latest Shiver and Dorsoduro 900. A long line of test rides on the perfect route only to discover that our Aprilias are designed to devour the pure mountain air and the tortuous roads of the Valtellina, as if we didn’t already know that.
Step two: getting to know our friends from the community who braved the rather dicey weather on Saturday to take part in the first #bearacer club Riding Practice: an intensive 8-hour theory and practical on-road riding specialisation course presented by instructors from the GSSS school (Guida Dinamica Sicura su Strada), free of charge and for #bearacer club members only. So how was it guys? Give that little hairpin hell!
Step three: watching the guys strut their stuff at the Stelvio Stunt Competition Match. This was a totally new event at this year’s rally, with international stunt riders competing against each other in various tests of riding skills and displaying their total control of their two-wheelers (don’t try this at home hey!), judged by a panel that included, amongst others, two exceptional riders like Carlos Checa and Marco Melandri.
Step four: “taking a spin” at the exclusive #bearacer club game, where you could put your passion to the test to win some fantastic Aprilia goodies. Come on, tell us, was it you who won the #bearacer power bank?
All told we had a really great time and for this we would very much like to thank all the club friends that we met at the amazing Stelvio Rally amongst the hairpin bends and the jugs of beer (in that order of course!).”
