Rome, 06 March 2018 – The Piaggio Group stars at the tenth edition of Motodays, the Rome motorcycle show, from 8 to 11 March. At the Rome exhibition centre (Fiera di Roma) the leading manufacturer in Europe will present a complete and renewed range of Piaggio scooters, while on the outdoor track, in the Riding Experience area, it will offer all bike fans the chance to try out the new motorbikes from the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands.
The scooter range for 2018 is offered in a wide variety of engines and sizes from 50cc to 500cc, all Euro 4 compliant. In this range, which is so wide that it can satisfy any commuting need, the stars are the models from the high-wheel family, which are particularly, suited to congested city roads. The impeccable ride combined with ultra-modern engines makes it a great commercial success, while the existence of three different products provides a unique offer range.

These are Liberty, as ever synonymous with freedom and independence; Medley, which combines lightness, comfort and a full range of accessories; and Beverly 300 and Beverly 350 by Police, the great high-wheel model which offers outstanding performance and a unique design. Piaggio MP3, the ambassador of technological excellence in the Piaggio Group, has had a complete makeover and is present at the Rome exhibition in the new 350 version and in the luxurious Business model set-up with 500cc.

Piaggio Liberty is available in Euro 4 in three engine sizes (50, 125 and 150cc) and features elegant styling with large diameter wheels which, right from the first Liberty model, have given the compact scooter all the dynamic security features of higher class bikes while contributing to the success of the “high wheel” segment. Equipped as standard with the “Start & Stop” function, which, by switching off the engine when stationary, helps limit consumption, emissions, and with two-channel ABS.

Piaggio Medley can boast a set-up normally reserved for higher-class scooters. Two engine sizes are available in the i-get 4T family - 125 and 150cc – both liquid cooled, with 4-valve distribution and electronic injection.

The motorcycle style chassis architecture, the ABS and the ASR traction control make Piaggio Beverly the most advanced high wheel maxi scooter. Besides the 300cc version, it is now available also with a modern 350, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single cylinder engine with electronic injection and liquid cooled. A state of the art engine, designed to offer performance comparable to that of a 400cc, with limited size and weight more like that of a 300cc bike.

Piaggio MP3 is the first three-wheeler scooter in the world and the new range represents the pinnacle of technological excellence applied to the Piaggio Group’s scooters. The two engine sizes of 350 (an absolute innovation for the MP3) and 500cc aim to satisfy every need for urban and non-urban transport. Piaggio MP3 500 is available in the Sport and Business set-ups, which are distinguished by different colouring and accessories, but now with enhanced standard features, while the Piaggio MP3 350 is available in a livery, which is inspired by the range of colours of the Piaggio MP3 500 Sport. All the models can be ridden using a standard car driving licence.
Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, the motorcycle brands of the Piaggio Group star in the area outside the exhibition halls. In the Riding Experience area it will be possible to try out the latest innovations from both brands. Aprilia offers biking enthusiasts the experience of riding the Shiver 900 and the Dorsoduro 900.
