Milan, 9 May 2017 – The pleasure of mobility, simplicity and efficiency in transporting goods in cities and great attention to the environment have always been key elements in the success of the strategy and development activities of the Piaggio Group and Piaggio Commercial Vehicles. This is why the Piaggio Porter is one of the stars of the sixth edition of Piano City Milano, with a series of itinerant concerts, from 19 to 21 May, which will animate the city squares and parks with the magic of music.
The result of this exceptional experiment, generated through the original combination of music and mobility, is “Piano à Porter”: a Piaggio Porter Tipper SL 1.5 ton Multitech equipped with an upright piano, created for the express purpose of taking the appeal of music round the squares, streets and courtyards of Milan, and turning them into places to meet up and enjoy some fun. A “role” that makes use of the compact dimensions and agility and the extraordinary ratio between size and load capacity that have made the Porter range such a success.
Piano à Porter is the great new attraction of Piano City Milano – “A city that makes music”, now an important event involving the city’s entire social and cultural fabric, from the centre to the suburbs. The festival, from 19 to 21 May 2017, will offer the public 50 hours of music, 450 concerts in more than 250 city locations (parks and gardens, squares and museums and other venues).

The Piaggio Porter will “play” in eight different locations, for eight concerts, each one lasting 50 minutes. Here is the itinerary, with the names of the artistes who will be playing the piano on the Porter:
