“SUSTAINABLE MOTORCYCLING IN EUROPE”:
THE NEXT ACEM CONFERENCE, 24 JANUARY 2018

The theme of the forthcoming Acem event will be “Sustainable motorcycling in Europe” and it will address how policy-makers, civil society and the motorcycle sector can work together to promote policies that improve the sustainability of Europe’s transport system whilst protecting skilled jobs in Europe.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • Motorcycling in cities, traffic congestion and local environmental policies.

  • Regulation 168/2013 on type-approval of L-category vehicles and environmental standards.

  • Engine efficiency and electrification of transport.

  • Pollutant emissions (HC, NOx, PM).

  • GEAR 2030 and the future of the automotive sector in Europe.

  • Latest market trends.
