The Piaggio Group continues to participate in the most important international motor shows in 2018. The Group exhibited its new product ranges at the Brussels Motor Show (Brussels, Belgium) and at Motor Bike Expo (Verona) in January, continuing in February with the Auto Expo Motor Show in New Delhi (India), The Motorcycles Shows in Canada and the al Chicago Motorcycles Show in the States. In the beginning of March, the Group went to the Pakistan Auto Show (Lahore, Pakistan), followed by Roma Moto Days in Italy. Articles and photos have been published in the Events column.

The international motorcycle world then met in Japan for the 2018 Tokyo Motorcycle Show (March 23 through 25). The 45th edition of the Japanese motorcycle show took up two whole halls on two levels, with all the world’s biggest motorcycle manufacturers showcasing the latest new developments. At the Tokyo show, Piaggio Group Japan “recreated” a scale copy of its stand at the latest edition of the EICMA international fair in Milan (2017) exhibiting the latest new products from Aprilia, including the RSV4 and RX, and Moto Guzzi with its V7 III range.

And then of course there were the Vespa Sei Giorni, Primavera (featuring new versions of the bestselling model, now 50 years old - 1968-2018) and the Vespa 946 (RED), a special model that has always attracted the attention of visitors and reporters alike.

From Japan to Spain, April 5 through 8, for “Vive la moto. El gran salón de la moto de Madrid” at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid. The Piaggio Group’s Spanish subsidiary, Piaggio España, presents new products for 2018 from the Piaggio, Aprilia, Vespa and Moto Guzzi brands.
The show is held every two years by Anesdor (the sector Spanish trade association) with the goal of promoting safe mobility on two wheels. A vast programme of related events is held during the show dates, ranging from test drives on the road with guides and on an internal test circuit (including a children’s trial circuit), shows and exhibitions. All the world’s biggest motorcycle brands will be there.
