EICMA 2017: THE CUSTOM MOTO GUZZI BIKES

ON THE PIAGGIO GROUP STAND AND AT EAST EICMA MOTORCYCLE: THE BEST PHOTOS AND THE SOUTH GARAGE VIDEO FOR PRORASO.

OFFICIAL VIDEO – SOUTH GARAGE FOR PRORASO:

At the Eicma international motorcycle show (Fiera Rho Milano, 9-12 November 2017) in addition to the new product entries for the upcoming season there was no shortage of custom bikes: unique pieces, true motorcycling works of art to set you dreaming.

On the large Piaggio Group stand, the section devoted to the Moto Guzzi brand presented a number of “special beauties” for visitors to admire: the three V7 IIIs “Nomad”, “Avio” and “Sketich bike-clubber”, the Asfy based on the V9 Roamer (one of the stars of the 2017 “Lord of the Bikes” TV contest broadcast on Sky Uno HD), the V9 Roamer with custom livery for the “Sali a Borgo” tour and the Moto Guzzi V7 III developed by South Garage for the Proraso brand.

Moto Guzzi was also present outside the exhibition at the East EICMA Motorcycle space organised in the East Market (in the design area on Via Ventura, in Lambrate), dedicated to vintage and customised bikes, with a corner shop and a display of the latest V7 III models (such as the black Special in scrambler style) and V9 models (including the black Bobber in a Dark Soul configuration) as well as a number of specials that took part in the second edition of the TV talent show Lord of The Bikes.

The special motorcycles included two magnificent creations by Filippo Barbacane: one based on a Moto Guzzi 850 T3, called Corax; the second based on a Moto Guzzi Bellagio, called Terramoto. Barbacane was also the designer of the MG Griso Anima Nera shown on his own stand. Other bikes at the East Market included the Calibro 9, based on the Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, one of the protagonists of Lord of the Bikes 2017, the Charlotte (based on a Griso) and the Hab-Ola (based on a V7 III Special).
