APRILIA CORPORATE COLLECTION

BLEU MODE FOR APRILIA APPAREL & LIFESTYLE.
AN EXPLOSION OF STYLE THAT FUSES THE INNOVATION OF APRILIA WITH THE VISION OF THE FRENCH ARTIST AND PHOTOGRAPHER

23 September 2024 - Aprilia, an icon of bold design and performance, has teamed up with photographer and multidisciplinary artist Bleu Mode, aka Julien Boudet, for a collaboration that explores a new vision of the worlds of fashion and art, yet one that at the same time embraces the essence of racing culture and hip hop.

Exclusivity is the key word in this project that pushes the brand beyond the world of motorcycling as it enters the heart of streetwear and urban fashion. Aprilia Corporate Apparel & Lifestyle takes on a vibrant beat with a blend of bold colours, innovative yet reassuringly familiar forms and surprising settings. In short, the type of fusion synonymous with Bleu Mode’s art direction.

Apparel & Lifestyle Aprilia Corporate. The Aprilia Corporate collection is all about boldness, achieved through stark colour contrasts and oversized logos inspired by Aprilia livery’s bold graphics.

Brilliant white lettering makes an impact against black, grey and purple backgrounds, an original colour palette that celebrates the brand’s ruggedness and competitive spirit. Even details such as the red or white hoodie drawstrings and zips play their part in showcasing Aprilia’s traditional colours.
In a clear nod to the On Track world, each item’s bold style makes a statement with an iconic multicolour silicon rubber patch emblazoned with the Aprilia “A” along with the Italian flag and the brand’s treble symbol. Details inspired by the bikes' design can be found in the garments’ shape and wearability, such as side slits down the sweatshirt’s sides.

Beyond the lens: Julien Boudet, aka "Bleu Mode". A fan of cars and the two-wheeled world, French artist Julien Boudet has revolutionized the visual panorama with his reflections on hyper-consumerism and luxury culture. His photographs of the Aprilia Collection are an intensive mix of visual, hip hop and sports culture yet retain a clear Mediterranean identity. With his distinctive style and use of medium-format cameras, Boudet does not merely take photos, but narrates visual, real stories ironically mixed with vehicles, logos and monograms.
