High-performance garments with a sartorial cut to provide the ideal completion to the Vespa Total Look clothing range, a concept inspired by liberty and spontaneity, leveraging the powerful and unique personality of Vespa and its followers. An iconic Italian brand that has always been synonymous with Lifestyle, Vespa pays special attention to the needs of city commuters with functional garments and accessories where the focus on practicality is enhanced by a unique style that is authentically Vespa.
To achieve this, Piaggio has designed a capsule collection – Bomber, Trench and Gilet – delivering safety, comfort and wearability in a range of garments and accessories whose distinguishing feature is a fresh, sober elegance. While these garments and accessories are designed to cope with adventures on the road, they are also perfect for daily use in the city, where – starting from carefully selected technical materials – the evident care devoted to their production is evident in these innovative solutions offering maximum performance. The result is the Vespa Bomber, Trench and Gilet.
The Vespa Bomber in waterproofed nylon combines motorcycle protectors in a casual line. With its international certification (EN 17092-4:2017), meaning it can be used in countries with the most stringent safety requirements, this technical jacket features removable shoulder and elbow protectors and can be fitted with a type-approved back protector. Comfortable to wear, it has a reflective patch at the back of the collar for night-time identification.
Many of these technical features appear on the Vespa Trench – also in a high-performing waterproof fabric with night-time visibility patches – with a smart fitted line: an essentially urban long jacket with hood. While keeping a sober look – enlivened by stitching in the Italian colours on a reflective ground – and truly comfortable wearability, the trench can be fitted with certified protectors for shoulders, elbows and back.
The reversible Vespa Gilet is in a water-repellent, wind-proof breathing fabric lined with wadding for extra warmth, and comes with high-visibility reflective inserts. Featuring technical and aesthetic details for passive safety and comfort such as the reflective inserts, the gilet maximises rider visibility at night. Aesthetic consistency is guaranteed by the sober dark colour with red contrast details such as the Vespa logo, zip and decorative iconic graphics with the unmistakable Vespa silhouette, echoed by the cheerful zip pull based on the front shield of the world’s most popular scooter.
