Milan, 6 November 2018 – A group of adrenalin addicts, pounding-heart fanatics, speedometer devotees… 14 racers from the Aprilia community, raring for a pure speed experience. The occasion was the 76th Esposizione Internazionale del Ciclo e Motociclo (ed. International bicycle, motorcycles and accessories show), at the Milano Fiera exhibition centre, where Aprilia unveiled a rich array of new products.
The 14 “heroes” were invited to the EICMA show on the special day reserved for the media, during which, accompanied by Aprilia technical staff, they had the opportunity to discover the upgraded Shiver 900 and Tuono V4 1100 Factory My 19 and, above all, the top expression for speed made in Noale: the imposing new RSV4 1100 Factory! The Aprilia fans also attended the press presentation for the world preview of the Aprilia RS 660 concept, in the company of none other than champion Max Biaggi!
Emotions were at full throttle. But the day wasn’t over. After the initial emotional rollercoaster came a physical trial: fitted out in special overalls and helmets (for skydivers, not bikers!), the racers had the chance to experience at first hand the sensations of a free-fall from a plane at an altitude of 4,500 metres, in the Fastweb Aero Gravity tunnel: the world’s largest free-fall simulator. A truly breathtaking experience! That’s the expression for speed!
