December 2025 (G.T.) – For decades, Father Christmas has been delivering gifts and smiles all over the world on his Vespa, and the multitude of Christmas initiatives promoted by Vespa Clubs across five continents are too many to count. Accordingly, in order to embody the spirit of friendship, solidarity and sharing that has always characterised the Vespa fans, we wanted to give a special mention to the events organised by the Vespa Club Bahía Blanca (in the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where it is summer in December), as narrated by its President Luciano Izarra, whom we thank for his collaboration.

“The ‘Papá Noel en Vespa’ (Father Christmas on a Vespa, ed.) initiative was the last event of the year for the Bahía Blanca Vespa Club, with members participating in a themed parade on their Vespas through the cities of Bahía Blanca and Punta Alta. The day began at 11:00 a.m. in Bahía Blanca, with a tour of the city centre. At midday, the parade stopped off in front of the Town Hall, opposite the main square, where sweets treats and stickers were handed out by the Bahía Blanca Vespa Club and by the Vespa Bahía Blanca official dealer. The procession also made its way through several neighbourhoods, including Villa Mitre.

In the afternoon, the festivities continued in Punta Alta, starting at 6:00-6:30 p.m., with a tour of the centre ahead of the ‘Night of the Shops’. After several laps through the heart of the city, the convoy stopped in front of the arch at the entrance to Plaza Belgrano, where sweets and stickers were once again handed out, and photos were taken with Father Christmas and the Vespas. Both adults and children alike were able to get closer to the action, snapping some photos and sharing a special moment.

A unique and distinctive experience, which enabled the Bahía Blanca Vespa Club to share a festive charity event with the community to mark the end of the year.”
Original text for Spanish-speaking Vespa fans: “La actividad Papá Noel en Vespa fue el evento de cierre del año del Vespa Club Bahía Blanca, en el que sus socios participaron de una caravana temática recorriendo las ciudades de Bahía Blanca y Punta Alta. La jornada comenzó a las 11 de la mañana en Bahía Blanca, con un recorrido por el centro de la ciudad. Al mediodía, alrededor de las 12 horas, la caravana se detuvo frente al edificio municipal, ubicado frente a la plaza principal, donde se repartieron caramelos y stickers del Vespa Club Bahía Blanca y de Vespa Bahía Blanca, la concesionaria oficial. También se recorrieron varios barrios como el de Villa Mitre. Por la tarde, la actividad continuó en Punta Alta, a partir de las 18 / 18.30 horas, con un recorrido por el centro de la ciudad como previa de la Noche de los Comercios. Tras varias vueltas por el centro, la caravana se detuvo frente al arco de entrada de la Plaza Belgrano, donde se repartieron nuevamente caramelos y stickers, y se realizaron fotos con Papá Noel y las Vespas. Tanto niños como adultos pudieron acercarse, sacarse fotos y compartir un momento especial.
Fue, sin dudas, una experiencia distinta y única, que permitió al Vespa Club Bahía Blanca cerrar el año compartiendo una propuesta solidaria y festiva junto a la comunidad.”
