The email from Komodo Chen reached the Moto Guzzi Museum in Mandello del Lario (housed in the historic Moto Guzzi factory) at the end of May: “I’m a Guzzi biker from Taiwan and a member of the local Moto Guzzi Club. In June, I shall be coming to Italy with 13 biker friends to visit the Moto Guzzi Museum. We’ll be stopping in France first, to hire the motorcycles, and then we’ll come to Mandello, before travelling into Switzerland.”
Chen kept his promise: and the great group photo under the headline taken outside the historic Eagle factory, complete with their official banner, documents the visit of the 14 Guzzi bikers from faraway Taiwan (on 13 June).
Komodo Chen runs a Motorcycle Touring blog for motorcyclists, with a special focus on fans of the Italian brand, where he also publishes news and photos of the activities of the Moto Guzzi Club. These photos of the Taiwanese Guzzi enthusiasts are taken from his blog.
Chen also sent this photogallery on the Club’s recent ride to Penghu Island, in the Taiwan Strait (Chinese Sea). Thanks friends!
