THE DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR 4 SEPTEMBER 2026, FOR AN EVENT THAT IS DUE TO BE THE BIGGEST AND MOST SPECTACULAR IN THE HISTORY OF MOTO GUZZI
Mandello del Lario (Italy), 15 September 2025 – The 2025 edition of the Moto Guzzi Open House event drew to a close yesterday evening. Thousands of enthusiasts descended on Mandello del Lario from all over Europe for the traditional date, which runs alongside the International Motorcycle Rally. The less-than-perfect weather, especially on the Saturday, did not deter the Guzzisti and the many fans of beautiful Italian motorcycles, who came to celebrate the legend of the eagle brand.
The Museum, which houses the spectacular Moto Guzzi exhibition with some of the brand’s star bikes from its 100-year-plus history, was one of the most popular destinations, and saw 15 thousand visits. The free test rides were also a roaring success, allowing hundreds of motorcyclists to test the 2025 Moto Guzzi range on the road.
But the 2025 edition of the event in Mandello represented a turning point in the history of Moto Guzzi - it was the last ahead of the inauguration of the new factory, announced for 4 September 2026, the opening day of a special edition of the Guzzi World Days (GMG – Giornate Mondiali Guzzi), the most eagerly awaited moment for Guzzi fans all over the world. It is set to be a ground-breaking event, the largest ever organised in the history of this glorious brand, with tens of thousands of Guzzi enthusiasts – and Moto Guzzi bikes – expected to arrive from every continent.
After more than a century of history, Moto Guzzi's historic headquarters will be reborn as a super-modern facility, boasting the very latest technologies on the assembly lines that will ensure ever-higher levels of quality, the likes of which have never been achieved before. It will be an all-new site, open to the public from panoramic viewing areas, allowing visitors to observe the production process and see the Moto Guzzi models being built.
The Moto Guzzi Museum will also be reborn, completely redesigned to offer an immersive experience tracing 105 years of motorcycling history, in an entirely new, unique setting which will make it one of the most fascinating industrial museums in the world.
Meanwhile, in the new commercial spaces, visitors will be able to purchase all things Moto Guzzi, from merchandise to clothing (including technical apparel), to the bike of their dreams. The new eagle's nest project aims to render Moto Guzzi's home more accessible and welcoming all year round.
