WELCOME LIKE STARS BY EMPLOYEES AT THE PIAGGIO FACTORY AND STUDENTS IN THE MUSEUM AUDITORIUM

Pontedera (Pisa province, Tuscany), 27 May 2026 – The Aprilia Racing riders Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín visited the Piaggio headquarter in Pontedera. This marked the first time that two Aprilia Racing MotoGP riders had visited the Pontedera plant, making it a moment of great celebration and strong emotional impact.
The two riders were welcomed with great enthusiasm by all the employees present, who also witnessed the firing up of the Aprilia RS-GP26.

Afterwards, Marco and Jorge toured the Vespa production facilities, gaining an appreciation for the complex production line behind its creation.

Afterwards, the riders and Massimo Rivola (Aprilia Racing CEO), met local students at the Piaggio Foundation Auditorium, where they answered questions from the audience. The day ended with a guided tour of the Piaggio Museum, led by Riccardo Costagliola, President of the Piaggio Foundation, who took the riders on a journey to discover the brands and vehicles that have shaped the Group's history.
