AN OUTPOURING OF LOVE FOR MOTO GUZZI

AN INCREDIBLE CROWD PACKS OUT MOTO GUZZI’S NEW HOME ON ITS FIRST DAY. GMG – MOTO GUZZI WORLD DAYS 2026 GET UNDER WAY: FROM THE MOMENT THE FAMOUS RED GATE OPENED, THOUSANDS OF ENTHUSIASTS POURED INTO THE NEW, ULTRA-MODERN MANDELLO SITE. THE PERFECT OPENING FOR A MAGNIFICENT VENUE CREATED TO WELCOME VISITORS ALL YEAR ROUND, WHERE CULTURE, CREATIVITY AND ENTERTAINMENT MEET

Mandello del Lario (Lecco, Italy), 3 September 2026 – An incredible crowd of thousands from all over the world gave Moto Guzzi’s new home in Mandello del Lario the perfect opening today.

The new, ultra-modern site, designed by architect Greg Lynn, was quite literally overrun with enthusiasts: Guzzisti who had ridden in from across Europe, motorcyclists devoted to the Italian marque, and countless enthusiasts, families and groups of friends.

All were eager to explore the magnificent new Moto Guzzi Museum, the new production facilities – all within the footprint of the original factory – the Motoplex Store shopping area, and the large tree-lined squares that now connect every part of Moto Guzzi’s new home.

The turnout was well beyond all expectations, with a steady stream of visitors passing through the historic Via Parodi entrance from the moment the famous red gate opened on the first day of GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days 2026, which promises to be a truly memorable event.

At the beating heart of the new hub, the large central square buzzed all day – a space open to everyone, just as it will be all year round. Visitors could also enjoy the street-food area and the photo booth, while the Virgin Radio stage at the entrance provided entertainment and a superb soundtrack throughout the day. Riders, meanwhile, were already making the most of the free test rides available across the entire Moto Guzzi range.
