8 March 2019 – Saturday 23 March 2019, the first weekend of spring, Aprilia is inviting motorcycling fans to a unique party at one of the world’s most fascinating racetracks, Mugello, a temple to world motorcycle racing. The time has come to get your cherished two-wheeler out of the garage and set off for the Tuscan hills to enjoy a special day, covered by the Sky Sport and Sky MotoGP TV channels, celebrating one of the most successful names in world motor-racing, its history, its bikes, and its champions past and present. The event is free and open to all enthusiasts and their families, groups of friends and all bikers, not just owners of Aprilia two-wheelers.
It will be an unmissable opportunity to meet the riders of the MotoGP team, Andrea Iannone, Aleix Espargaró and Bradley Smith, and to see the fantastic RS-GP bikes in the supreme world MotoGP class.
The high moment of the day will be the presentation on the racetrack of the Aprilia MotoGP team, by Guido Meda and Vera Spadini.
The Aprilia Racing Team Gresini riders, Iannone and Espargaró, and the test rider Bradley Smith, will be celebrated by all the members of the great Aprilia Racing family.
The Mugello festivities will be attended by a host of stars, from the worlds of sport and entertainment, while Max Biaggi, Loris Capirossi, Manuel Poggiali, Lorenzo Savadori and other famous riders who have gone down in the history of Aprilia will make an appearance on the racing circuit.
And making its world debut at Mugello the new RSV4 1100 Factory, the Aprilia 217 CV superbike.
The paddock gates will open at 10 a.m. and entertainment will be provided throughout the day by Virgin Radio, compered from the stage by Ringo, with music, events and an uninterrupted succession of games offering hundreds of Aprilia prizes, from passes for MotoGP races, clothing and accessories, to racing and rider memorabilia. The ultimate prize is a magnificent Aprilia Shiver 900.
In the paddock, the thousands of fans will be able to visit the stands of Aprilia Racing’s partners: Sky, Diadora, and Gulf will welcome visitors, while the well-stocked Aprilia shop will offer Aprilia and Aprilia Racing clothing and merchandising at discounted prices.
