CANADA: PIAGGIO GROUP AMERICAS
AT THE MOTORCYCLE SHOW

IN MONTREAL, FROM 23 TO 25 FEBRUARY 2018, SIXTH STAGE OF THE ITINERANT EXPO, PREVIOUSLY SEEN IN CALGARY, EDMONTON, VANCOUVER, QUEBEC AND TORONTO. AND IN THE STATES FOR THE IMC TOUR, WHICH BEGAN IN LONG BEACH AND WILL CLOSE IN WASHINGTON.

“The Motorcycle Shows” (“Les salons de la moto”) is the name of a Canadian “itinerant” tradeshow for two-wheelers and accessories: it began in January in Calgary, then moved on to Edmonton, Vancouver, Quebec, Toronto, and will be in Montreal (Palais des Congrès) from 23 to 25 February 2018, the final stage in the tour attended by the world’s most important brands.

Piaggio Group Americas (a Piaggio Group subsidiary) is present at the conclusion of the 2018 tour, at the Motorcycle Show in Montreal with this year’s new entries for the Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi ranges, distributed through the extensive Canadian dealer network.

IMC: FROM LONG BEACH TO CHICAGO

Piaggio Group Americas also took part in the Chicago Motorcycle Show (9-11 February 2018, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center), an international show with events and exhibitions, attended by the top American and world constructors, and not to be missed by fans of two-wheelers, accessories and customised vehicles. Highlights included Moto Guzzi’s MGX-21, V9 Bobber and Roamer and V7 III range (already displayed with great success at the Long Beach Progressive International Motorcycle Show, together with the Aprilia motorcycle offers). Visitors at the IMS in Chicago also saw the special Rodsmith V9 Retro Café Racer (part of the Moto Guzzi V9 Custom Project: www.motoguzzi.com/us_EN/news/moto-guzzi-launches-2017-v9-custom-builder-project).

In addition to the Piaggio and Vespa ranges, at the IMS in Chicago followers of the Aprilia brand had the chance to admire the supersport bikes RSV4 RR ABS and RSV4 RF ABS, the 900 Dorsoduro and Shiver, the Tuono V4 1100, in Factory and RR versions, the latter the winner of Cycle World’s Naked Bike Shootout by Motorcycle.com.

The Chicago event was organised as part of the International Motorcycle Shows (IMS) circuit. The Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® is one of the world’s top touring motorcycle shows, with more than 35 years of experience: the 2017-2018 edition touched seven major US cities in seven states. It opened in Long Beach in November and has since travelled to New York, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Dallas and Chicago, and will close in Washington, D. C., from 23-25 February 2018.
