Milan, 13 October 2026 – Always the first time. A new discovery every year. Unveiled today at Palazzo Lombardia in Milan, the 2026 edition marks a new milestone in the exhibition's history. For the first time since EICMA moved to the Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Rho, the event will occupy ten halls, one more than last year. This unprecedented achievement makes EICMA 2026 the largest edition ever held at the Milan exhibition venue.
The scale of the event is also reflected in its key figures: more than 300,000 square metres of exhibition and outdoor space, 754 exhibitors and 2,120 brands from 52 countries. These figures paint a picture of an even bigger, more international and more comprehensive exhibition, confirming EICMA's central role in the global two-wheeler industry.
Its global appeal is further demonstrated by the international presence: 74% of the brands represented come from outside Italy. Alongside traditionally well-established markets, companies from countries including the Bahamas, Cambodia, Cyprus, Egypt and Finland will join EICMA's extensive international line-up for the first time this year. This confirms the exhibition's ability to attract businesses from around the world and its position as a leading platform for international business, networking and communication.
Equally significant is the comprehensive representation of motorcycle manufacturers, further strengthened by major returns and new participants. Around 30% of direct exhibitors are companies returning to EICMA or taking part for the first time. This renewal demonstrates the exhibition's continuing ability to attract investment and remain a unique, strategic event for the entire industry, even against a challenging international economic and geopolitical backdrop. Growth, however, is not just about numbers. The expansion to ten halls and the increase in overall exhibition space are also accompanied by significant improvements to the quality of the visitor experience, with a more effective distribution of attractions and visitor flows, and greater emphasis on exhibition content, services and experiences.

“ALWAYS THE FIRST TIME”: A NEW DISCOVERY EVERY YEAR.
This ability to grow and reinvent itself while preserving its identity and connection with its heritage lies at the heart of the 2026 communication campaign. “Always the first time. A new discovery every year” portrays EICMA as the place where, year after year, the world of two wheels continues to experience the excitement of a first encounter. The campaign's key visual features a motorcycle still concealed beneath a red drape: the moment just before the unveiling, when anticipation, curiosity and imagination build towards discovery. The image captures the very essence of EICMA: an international stage where new models, technologies and trends are unveiled to the world, bringing together industry, business, media and enthusiasts. Every year, EICMA thus becomes a defining moment, creating a “before and after” in the international two-wheeler calendar: the place where expectations and previews take shape and become a shared reality.

Pietro Meda, President of EICMA: “Every edition of EICMA brings something new, but above all, it retains its unique ability to inspire excitement. This is the true meaning of ‘Always the first time’: coming back here and still feeling as though it were your very first visit. The figures for the 2026 edition reflect a strong, international and comprehensive exhibition, but behind these achievements lies a global community of businesses, professionals, media and hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts. Our mission is to continue providing them with a place that can surprise and engage, inspire younger generations, build relationships, promote a culture of mobility and generate value for the industry, while improving the quality of the visitor experience year after year.”
Paolo Magri, CEO of EICMA: “The 2026 figures once again confirm EICMA's central position on the international stage. Ten exhibition halls, more than 300,000 square metres, 2,120 brands from 52 countries and a 74% international presence are particularly significant indicators, especially in the current global environment. Equally important, in my view, is the fact that around 30% of direct exhibitors are either returning companies or first-time participants. This demonstrates that EICMA continues to attract businesses, renew itself and represent a strategic investment for the industry.
Added to this is the comprehensive representation of motorcycle manufacturers, making the 2026 edition particularly representative of the global industry's offering.”
SPEED LEGENDS: THE HISTORY OF MOTOGP COMES TO EICMA.
Among the most eagerly anticipated attractions of the 2026 edition is Speed Legends, a new international exhibition dedicated to the history of motorcycle racing's premier class, developed as part of the EICMA.SHIFT UP partnership with MotoGP and under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Covering approximately 1,000 square metres in Hall 22, the exhibition will take visitors on a journey through decades of motorcycle racing history, featuring more than 30 historic motorcycles alongside the five MotoGP bikes competing in the 2026 season.

The chronological exhibition will go beyond displaying extraordinary machines, exploring the technical, sporting and cultural evolution of motorcycle racing at its highest level. Iconic motorcycles, legendary champions and remarkable sporting achievements will bring to life a journey through the past and present of Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

The partnership with MotoGP will also feature interactive content and a revamped Gaming Arena, where state-of-the-art simulators will offer immersive gaming sessions. Fans will also have access to dedicated activities and exclusive opportunities, including the chance to win special experiences at the MotoGP rounds in Misano and Mugello. Speed Legends will therefore be one of the signature attractions of EICMA 2026, bringing together past, present and future in a celebration that perfectly reflects the spirit of discovery at the heart of this edition.
