Rimini, November 2019 - A true Ecomondo (Ecoworld) is represented for four days at the Rimini exhibition centre (5-8 November 2019) for “The Green Technology Expo”, the 23rd International Fair for the industrial and technological innovation of the circular economy. 1,300 companies occupied the 129,000 m2 of the Rimini exhibition district, supported by an intense and interested demand, also guaranteed by thousands of foreign buyers who arrived in Rimini from 130 countries and were accredited for the business meetings scheduled at the show with the companies.
More than 520 Italian and foreign journalists were accredited for the event, where the 2020 edition was announced, already scheduled at the Rimini Exhibition centre from 3 to 6 November.
This year, Piaggio Commercial was once again present at Ecomondo (the trade show event which confirmed its status as leader in the European sector). In the revamped 160 m2 exhibit space, painstakingly planned down to the smallest detail, Porter Maxxi Chassis GPL (LPG) Euro 6D and Ape 50 outfitted in the urban clean-up version were on display. Piaggio Commercial has always met the specific mobility needs of numerous companies operating in the urban décor sector, particularly for waste collection in historic centres and in limited accessibility environments. During the show, customers and operators were able to meet with Piaggio Commercial staff for an up close and personal introduction to the versatile range of commercial vehicles that offer solutions for the widest variety of professional needs.
“Piazza Piaggio” (Piaggio Square) was the “theme” of the Piaggio Commercial exhibit area, represented as a town square with the goal of demonstrating the vehicles in an urban setting, and to highlight, on one hand, their versatility in various sectors (urban cleaning, short range deliveries, etc.) and, on the other hand, the transport mission in city environments that are characterised by increasingly stricter traffic restrictions and congested streets.
