April 2025 (G.T.) – ‘In the stables of the Italian Embassy in Prague, Ambassador Mauro Marsili and the Vice President of the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alessandro Pasquale, introduced the celebratory event for Made in Italy National Day dedicated to the two- and four-wheeled gems of Italian creativity. With the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague and #AgenziaICE (the Italian Trade Agency).

Iconic vehicles – symbols of creativity and innovation in Italian industry – are on display. These include vintage models (Maserati, Ferrari, Lancia, Vespa from various eras…) and contemporary ones, such as the superb Moto Guzzi Stelvio, the flagship model of the brand founded on the shores of Lake Como in 1921, and the Vespa 946 Dragon, a special edition of the world’s most famous scooter. Since its debut in 1946, Vespa has been a symbol of mobility and freedom, style and design, transcending trends and generations. A fascinating array of Made in Italy products.

Ambassador Mauro Marsili introduced the exhibition’s opening event, emphasising that creativity, quality, style, and the undisputed combination of tradition and innovation are the key strengths of Italy’s manufacturing excellence (Made in Italy), which are appreciated and recognised worldwide.

Made in Italy National Day (established by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in 2023 and now in its second edition) highlights the finest expressions of Italian excellence, celebrating them on a symbolic date – 15 April – the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci, the ultimate Italian genius. His famous Vitruvian Man (a study of human body proportions) is the chosen National Made in Italy Day symbol.
