Mandello del Lario, 6 September 2023 – After the success achieved last year by GMG, the Moto Guzzi World Days, during which the one hundred years of its foundation were celebrated, the Open House is back, the huge celebration opens to everyone dedicated to Moto Guzzi and lovers of beautiful Italian motorcycles that will be held from 7 to 10 September in Mandello del Lario. The primary goal of the event is the same: to celebrate the love for one of the most respected and renowned brands in the world, opening the doors of the factory to the public where, since 1921, Moto Guzzi motorcycles have been hand built without interruption.

The Mandello del Lario plant will be, therefore, as in all the past editions, the heart of the event. The opening of the legendary red gate at via Parodi 57 is the most eagerly awaited moment. It is the ritual that celebrates the start of the biggest party dedicated to all Guzzisti which, for this edition, will take place on Thursday, 7 September, at 9:30 a.m., with the opening of the museum, further renewed and expanded, where 150 of the rarest Moto Guzzis are preserved.
Also at 9:30 a.m., in the area in front of the red gate, the Moto Guzzi shop will open with a plentiful selection of original apparel and merchandising and registration for test rides of the Moto Guzzi range will open. And this is another change: given the great demand of the public to test the jewels of the manufacturer and also given the arrival of new models such as the V100 Mandello, this year, the test rides will begin on Thursday, 7 September and will continue through Sunday, 10 September. More sessions and more bikes available, for the maximum satisfaction of all, along a route set up to enhance the qualities of the Larian bikes, accompanied by the amazing scenery Lake Como offers.
The programme on Friday, 8 September replicates the one from the day before, with the addition of the start of workshop operations for Guzzisti who are members of The Clan. Saturday and Sunday will be the most intense days of activity and events. On 9 September at 9:30 a.m., both the museum and the plant will open to the public and visitors will be able to tour the engine assembly areas, the vehicle assembly lines where each unit is hand assembled, and the historic wind tunnel, designed and built in the early 1950s as the first structure of its type to study aerodynamics applied to motorcycles.
There will be even larger display spaces inside the Moto Guzzi Village for the Moto Guzzi range, which will include the magnificent V100 Mandello. There will also be space for something completely new: a special, never before seen version of the V7.
There will also be a full programme of speeches, talk shows, and special guests who take their turn on the stage set up in the Moto Guzzi Village, livened up by the music of Virgin Radio. Refreshments are ensured by Street Food, thanks to the presence of various mini trucks capable of whipping up quality gourmet dishes on the spot with a vast selection from the best tradition of Italian cuisine.
In the Village, there is an area dedicated to the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, the single-brand trophy that allows participants to rediscover the thrill of racing on a team astride the V7, spending little and having great fun. There is also a space reserved for the Moto Guzzi Experience, the exclusive programme of all-inclusive trips astride bikes from the Moto Guzzi range.
