THE STELVIO AT THE STELVIO: TWO ICONS, ONE GREAT EVENT

May 2025 - To mark the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Stelvio Pass, Moto Guzzi, in collaboration with Bormio Tourism, will officially inaugurate the first weekend of the pass's opening after the winter closure. The event opens on Saturday 31 May at 9:30 in Bormio’s Piazza V Alpini, at the ‘Moto Guzzi Village’: the first 20 Moto Guzzi enthusiasts to arrive with a Stelvio will be able to take part in the 200th official opening of the pass, accompanied by the Moto Guzzi team and the authorities. The road barrier on the Stelvio pass will be lifted in unison, and those in attendance will be able to enjoy one of Italy’s most popular landscapes among bikers, celebrating the arrival at ‘Moto Guzzi Point’, at the top of the pass. The guest of honour at the opening will of course be the Moto Guzzi Stelvio Duecentro Tributo.

The celebration will then continue throughout the weekend, and visitors will have the opportunity to try out the entire Moto Guzzi range: Stelvio, V85, V100 and the all-new V7 Sport. On Saturday 31 May, coinciding with the official opening ceremony, visitors will be able to take part in exclusive test rides, enabling bikers to ride to the top of the Stelvio pass, while on Sunday 1 June, scenic routes are planned along the curves of the pass, surrounded by unique landscapes.

The Moto Guzzi Stelvio Duecento Tributo will be the star of the big event: created to celebrate the two-hundredth opening of the pass, it was “designed” by these magnificent hairpin bends, the most stunning curves in the world, with a limited and numbered series of 2,758 units produced - this number pays homage to the altitude of the Stelvio Pass in metres.
