January 2025 – In an enchanting corner of the Dolomites, where snowy peaks and fresh mountain air intertwine, Vespa unveils a new experience, bringing the timeless appeal of an iconic Made in Italy brand to a new setting. From the 6th of December 2024, the historic Baita Sofie, located on Mount Seceda at an altitude of 2,410 m, will host ‘Vespa by the Mountain’, a project that introduces the Vespa lifestyle universe to its winter counterpart, offering an exclusive refuge where design, a passion for freedom and the elegance of Vespa, meet the Dolomites in a unique atmosphere.

After Vespa’s take-over of a beach lido in the bay of Paraggi, the brand is now expanding its adventurous and iconic spirit to the mountains, celebrating the warmth and comfort of one of the most elegant and historically rich chalets in the Alps. Baita Sofie will be outfitted in a new look that will remain throughout the winter season, and into the next summertime. The space's design reflects the link between Vespa and quintessential mountain style, in a new and fascinating interpretation of the Italian brand.
At the heart of the chalet a historic Vespa is on display, while outside an elegant Vespa 946 awaits, creating a bridge between past and future in a fascinating contrast of tradition and innovation. A vision of freedom and timeless beauty for the brand that expands its lifestyle universe, weaving together the chalet project with the Vespa Snake Capsule winter clothing collection which launched in October.

To celebrate the presentation of the Chalet's new look, Vespa is designing a series of exclusive items, including blankets and pillows, available online in the brand's store. The Chalet is reimagined with elements specially designed for the Vespa by the Mountain project: from the handcrafted wooden sign to the wine glass, everything celebrates the union between the two brands.
