VESPARCH 2018: URBAN ITINERARIES WITH THE ARCHITECT STEFANO BOERI, IN THE SADDLE OF THE VESPA

Milan (Italy), 27 May 2018Vespa was a mobility partner of “Milano Arch Week”, promoted by the Municipality of Milan, the Milan Polytechnic and the Milan Triennale in collaboration with the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation. "Urbania, a look at the future of cities" was the title of the 2018 edition (the second, repeating the success of last year).

A week (May 23-27) that offered a rich program of conferences, workshops, installations, exhibitions, performances and events open to citizenship, to reflect together on the future of the city and on the dynamics of contemporary architecture; an opportunity for dissemination on the territory and activation of the main cultural institutions of the city, with international architecture masters and young emerging architects.

And more, thanks to Vesparch, the urban itineraries in the saddle of the Vespa designed by the star-architect Stefano Boeri, the Milano arch week’s artistic director (and chairman of the Triennale Foundation of Milan), the several participants were able to experience a range of urban itineraries on board a Vespa, with a series of in-depth “lessons” taking place across some of Milan's most architecturally interesting sites.

From the Prada Foundation to MUDEC (Museum of the cultures), from the MAUA (Museum of urban augmented art) to the Strehler and Piccolo theatres, by way of the Caccia Dominioni and Magistretti buildings and San Siro social housing, Vespa (Primavera range) played a part in thematic educational sessions that serve to contribute to a satisfying and on going full metropolitan immersion.
