THE "VESPA VINTAGE" SERVICE: CERTIFIED DOCUMENTATION

VESPA VINTAGE is a service for all Vespa owners that gives you the opportunity to request information from the historical archives of our establishment. With a simple verification of the registration data of your Vespa, we will be able to send you the only official documentation that can certify the authenticity of your vehicle. An extraordinary opportunity to give more value to your vehicle.
These are the types of documents that can be requested from the VESPA VINTAGE service.
CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN. This is a certificate from the manufacturer showing the chassis/ frame number, the engine number, the year of manufacture of the vehicle, the approval number and location of the first-sale. It certifies the effective construction of the vehicle by the company according to the correct matching of the data, but it does not certify the authenticity of the vehicle.

In which cases should it be requested?  Re-registration of a vintage vehicle (and non vintage), to request a duplicate of your documents in case of loss or deterioration, registration with institutions and clubs, collector purposes and historical interest.
TECHNICAL DATA SHEET. This document contains the technical and homologation specifications for vehicles produced from 1951 to 1999. In which cases should it be requested?  Re-registration of a vintage vehicle (and non), to request a duplicate of your documents in case of loss and / or deterioration, registration with historical institutions.

C.O.C DUPLICATE (CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY). This is a duplicate of the European Certificate of Conformity; the original was issued when the Vehicle was first registered and for vehicles produced from the year 2000 onwards. The certificate contains the technical and homologation specifications and is issued in Italian or English.

In which cases should it be requested? For the Re-registrations of vehicles produced after the year 2000, for the transfer of the vehicle between EEC and Extra EEC countries, to ask for a duplicate of the documents in case of loss and / or deterioration.
PLATE. Adhesive containing the registration and homologation details of the vehicle; it is a standard application on vehicles produced since the 1990s. Note: the duplicate of the plate for vehicles produced before the '90s, not being conform to the original production, is issued at the discretion of the manufacturer, and only if absolutely necessary and in extraordinary situations.

In which cases should it be requested? Periodic review, testing, re-registration, to request duplicate documents in case of loss and / or deterioration.
DECLARATION. Official act issued by the manufacturer in case of transformation/modification of the characteristics of the vehicle, if and only conforming to current regulations. Examples: tire size variation, correction of anomalies after the vehicle registration document has been released (mass, length, etc.).

USER MANUAL. Reprint of the use and maintenance manual (if the original is available) of the vintage vehicle (or non).

WORKSHOP MANUAL. Reprint of the workshop manual (if the original is available) of the vintage vehicle (or non).

SPARE PARTS CATALOGUE. Reprint of the spare parts catalog (if the original is available) of the vintage vehicle (and non).
