December 2020 – The 37th Thailand International Motor Expo 2020 in Bangkok - one of the few shows held regularly on an international level during this difficult 2020 – had a record turnout: more than 1.2 million visitors who – in full compliance with the prevailing health regulations – had the chance to see all the car, bike and scooter news up close, presented by the major global brands, from 3 to 13 December 2020 at the IMPACT Challenger.

The Piaggio Group was no exception, represented in the Asian country by the official importer, Vespiario (in the APAC-Asia Pacific 2Wheeler market) with a large exhibit space. About thirty vehicles were on stage, including scooters and motorcycles, with all the latest news. In short, Piaggio: Medley 150, MP3 300 Sport; Vespa – which celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special series: Sprint 150 I-get 10th Anniversary limited edition; plus: Sei Giorni, S, LX, Primavera (RED), Primavera S, Primavera S 150, Primavera S 125 I-get, GTS 300 Super Tech, GTS 300 Super and GTS 150; Aprilia: RSV4 and Tuono V4 and Moto Guzzi: V85 TT, Audace, V7 Stone e Special, V9 Bobber and Roamer.
The number of visitors booking vehicles was high, with Vespa standing out on the list of the 10 most requested two-wheeled models, finishing in a respectable 4th place out of all the motorbikes and scooters booked during the show; and it was the only scooter brand in the top ten! This success is a rather nice gift for Vespa Thailand’s tenth birthday.
