SPAIN: 320 SCOOTERS FOR RENTAL COMPANIES. Through the Piaggio España selling agency, the Moto Rent Pujols company, a leading vehicle hire firm in Formentera whose fleet already includes Vespa vehicles, has been supplied with an additional selection of Piaggio scooters: 150 Typhoon 50cc and 20 Zip 50cc.
Another important delivery has been made to Casa Capo, an official Piaggio Group dealer, which sells vehicles to rental companies in Majorca: 225 scooters in a variety of Piaggio Group models.
HUNGARY: THE LIBERTY FOR THE POLICE FORCE. Through the Marinat SRO/NetMoto KFT. importer, the Group has supplied Hungary’s National Police with 37 Piaggio Liberty i-get 50cc scooters to be used by the Guardia Civil, notably in small towns, for local enforcement and road-accident prevention. The scooters have been personalised with the colours and badges of the Hungarian Police force.
GERMANY: THE MP3 FOR DEUTSCHE TELEKOM GRUPPE SERVICES. Through the Piaggio Deutschland selling agency, four Piaggio MP3 500 ie Business top-of-the-range models have been delivered to the DeTeFleetService GmbH (vehicle fleet supply and delivery service) for Deutsche Telekom Gruppe.
Specifically, the MP3 three-wheel maxi scooters are used by Telekom group service engineers for call-outs to customer homes, for example to install internet devices and repair telephone equipment.
