The Matexpo, International Technical Fair, Nufam and Municipalia exhibitions provided key opportunities to showcase cutting-edge solutions and strengthen the brand’s presence across the European market. At these European events, the Piaggio Porter NPE, featuring a fully electric powertrain, and the Piaggio Porter NP6, equipped with an efficient internal combustion engine, took centre stage, ready to meet every professional transport need, showcasing the brand’s technological innovation and versatility.
MATEXPO 2025, BELGIUM. The 41st edition of Matexpo took place from 10 to 14 September 2025 at Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium. As one of Europe’s leading construction, machinery and vehicle trade fairs, it featured exhibitors presenting the latest innovations in construction equipment, materials and specialist vehicles, as well as live demonstrations and workshops for industry professionals. Piaggio Commercial at Matexpo 2025: The stand, organised in partnership with local importer Beherman Motors and located in Hall 5 (stand 501), featured the Piaggio Porter NPE in its tipper configuration with extended side panels – a 100% electric vehicle designed for urban transport.
The event represented a strategic opportunity to further raise the profile of the Porter NPE, Piaggio’s new compact and versatile City E-Truck developed to deliver outstanding performance in professional urban transport. Powered by a 150 kW electric motor and a 42 kWh LFP battery, with a range of up to 250 km on the WLTP urban cycle, the Porter NPE attracted strong interest from industry professionals thanks to its high payload capacity, zero-emission operation, fast charging times and compliance with European GSR II safety standards.
INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL FAIR 2025, BULGARIA. The 79th International Technical Fair took place from 24 to 27 September 2025 at the Plovdiv Fair Centre in Bulgaria. NUFAM 2025, GERMANY.From 25 to 28 September 2025, the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre in Rheinstetten, Germany, hosted a new edition of NUFAM, one of Europe’s leading commercial vehicles’ trade fairs. The event brought together over 400 exhibitors from around the world, presenting a wide range of solutions for transport, logistics, vehicle outfitting and sustainable mobility. The 2025 edition recorded strong growth, with more than 430 exhibitors from 23 countries representing leading international brands and showcasing a wide range of solutions for transport, logistics, vehicle outfitting and sustainable mobility. MUNICIPALIA 2025, SPAIN. From 21 to 23 October 2025, the Fira de Lleida in Spain hosted Municipalia, the biennial international trade fair for municipal services and equipment, focused on green urban solutions, innovation in public services and sustainable city development. The event is a key meeting point for municipalities, public administrations, companies and professionals, centred on mobility, energy and smart technologies. It focuses on waste management, urban mobility, public lighting, urban planning and infrastructure, and technologies for governance and the environment.
The 23rd edition of Municipalia once again attracted strong participation from institutional representatives, companies and professionals – a clear sign that the shift towards more efficient and eco-sustainable mobility is well under way.
