Cairo (Egypt), 2 December 2018 – What a surprise! At “The British International School” (BISC, a leading school in Egypt, established in 1976), Santa Claus eschewed the traditional sleigh and reindeer to arrive on board a spectacular chauffeur-driven Ape Romanza, in a red livery with sparkling decorations. The initiative was collaboration between Raya Holding, the Piaggio Commercial Vehicles importer in Egypt, the BISC and the PTA Parent-Teacher Association.
Everyone, from the youngest students to the oldest, the parents, teachers and BISC staff gave an astonished and enthusiastic welcome to the motorised superstar Santa Claus in his Ape Romanza, as he made his “triumphal” entrance on to the school’s sports field and a lap of honour past the grandstands, to applause and photos, accompanied by the PTA representatives. In this video clip, you can feel the delight of those present at the event.
Santa Claus then posed with the students in a set assembled for the occasion by the school, for a must-have souvenir photo.
