January 2025 – Wide editorial office received this lovely email by Bernadette & Daniel from Austria, dedicated to all Vespa lovers around the world: “On past June 29th, we said ‘I do’ – a day that forever changed our lives. But behind this special moment lies a story that began long before, a story that touches our hearts deeply and has always been intertwined with a little Vespa.

It all started years ago when we rented a Vespa during a memorable holiday in Tuscany, surrounded by gentle hills and fragrant vineyards. We rode through the picturesque streets, the wind in our hair, and the hum of the engine accompanying us like a melody. It was the first moment we truly felt what it meant to be free together. The Vespa was always more than just a vehicle for us – it became a symbol of our shared adventures, our joy, and our love.

After our wedding, when we rode away on my mom’s Vespa into the new chapter of our lives, it was a moment full of happiness, where everything seemed perfect – the day, the moment, the feeling of freedom flowing through us. We knew this wouldn’t be the last time we experienced such a moment on a Vespa. That moment opened our hearts, and when we saw our wedding photos, it was clear to us: we need to get our own Vespa. A new chapter was beginning, and this little machine would be part of it.

In the spring of 2025, we want to make that dream come true. We don’t just want to buy a vehicle; we want to create a piece of life, a piece of freedom and love for ourselves. Every ride on that Vespa will. remind us of how beautiful it is to live life together, to seek out adventure, and to fully embrace every moment.
When we showed the photos to our loved ones, the response was unanimous: ‘These pictures belong with Vespa!’ It just felt right – as though the Vespa was the perfect addition to our story. And so, we want to share this story with you... For us, the Vespa is more than just a dream – it’s a part of a journey that is only just beginning.
We can’t wait to start our journey in spring 2025 with our own Vespa – hand in hand, smiles on our faces, and the sun at our backs. This journey, which means so much to us, won’t just have a destination; it will be an ongoing companion in our lives – just like the Vespa that will continue to capture our hearts again and again”.
