June 2026 (G.T.) – The International Sound & Film Music Festival is one of the three biggest and most important film festivals of its kind in the world. None other than the actor Ciarán Hinds – known for films and TV series included as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Belfast – was president of the high-profile jury at this edition of the prestigious international festival.
The 2026 edition was held in Varaždin, Croatia (city of culture and a UNESCO City of Music) from 21 to 24 May.

The singer Lionessa Soul was nominated in the “Best Original Song” category for her song “Keep the Faith”. Director Hermann Weiskopf makes the following comment: “I’m absolutely delighted that Lionessa Soul has received this incredible nomination for her song ‘Keep the Faith’, which she wrote and performed several times as part of our film.”

Kathy Kelly of the famous “The Kelly Family”, Simon Pegg (who has had roles in films such as ‘Mission Impossible’ and ‘Star Wars’, among others) and other Oscar-winning film personalities such as Marc Ulano (‘Titanic’) all voiced their enthusiasm for Lionessa Soul’s vocal talent and performance.
“The fact that Lionessa Soul has managed to reach the absolute pinnacle of international film music with ‘Keep the Faith’ makes me happy for the whole team of filmmakers, who believed in our film ‘Ride Back to Faith’ right from the start” the director continued.

What is this your film about? Answer the director: “In 2025, the Holy Year, Hermann sets out on a very special pilgrimage. In the saddle of his Vespa, he departs from Innsbruck, headed for Rome, in search of faith. The encounters and memories he experiences along the way lead him to question his own life, until the pilgrimage takes an unexpected turn. Lionessa Soul appears several times during the pilgrimage with her song ‘Keep the Faith’, showing Hermann the way that he had lost sight of.”

“Ride Back To” – a trilogy of road trip films - “Ride back to Faith“ (82-minute, 2025) is the third instalment in director Hermann Weiskopf’s ‘Ride Back to…’ trilogy. Lionessa Soul had already performed live and appeared in the film “Ride back to Best Age”, released in 2024. For the song “Road of Life”, taken from the film, she received the ‘Audience Award’ at the Vieste Music Festival 2025. The first chapter of the trilogy is “Ride back to Freedom” (2021).
