APRILIA TUAREG RALLY @ AFRICA ECO RACE 2025:

Milan (Italy), 21 January 2025 – For Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, the Motor Bike Expo 2025 in Verona marks a major celebration. From 24 to 26 January, the two Italian Piaggio Group brands will unveil all their new products for 2025 to fans. For Aprilia and its riders, the event will be a great opportunity to celebrate a year of off-road racing victories. The Aprilia Tuareg has dominated the category for the entire season, winning every race entered, and in Verona, the new, long-awaited Rally version of the bike will make its début, directly derived from the competition bike. Champion Jacopo Cerutti rode the Tuareg to a series of impressive wins, including the most important triumph of all - the Africa Eco Race which finished on 12 January in Dakar. Having ridden six thousand kilometres across Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, Jacopo and his Tuareg arrived on the legendary finish line on the Lac Rose (Pink Lake), confirming their champion status and repeating last year's triumph.

THE CELEBRATION. Saturday 25 January will be a day of celebration at the MBE, to mark the Tuareg's victory and Aprilia's racing achievements in general. From 11:00, the six-time world champion Max Biaggi, the MotoGP and test rider Lorenzo Savadori and Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, will all be at the Aprilia stand (Pavilion/Hall 6). At 12:30, the party to celebrate the Team Aprilia Tuareg Racing win in the Africa Eco Race will kick off: Jacopo Cerutti, his team-mates Francesco Montanari and Marco Menichini (winner in the under25 category), and the GCorse Team of the Guareschi brothers who have been with Tuareg through all its victories will celebrate with the fans in attendance at the Motor Bike Expo. Cerutti's Tuareg Rally will be the special guest at the party, fresh from its triumph in Dakar.

NEW FROM APRILIA. And directly descended from the bike that dominated in the desert is one of the most eagerly-awaited new arrivals: the new Aprilia Tuareg Rally, derived from the competition bike, presented as a new benchmark in the world of two-cylinder motorcycles designed for the most challenging off-road conditions. The Tuareg Rally is distinguished by its standard equipment, which is focused on off-road riding, and includes a high front mudguard, a new aluminium sump guard, sturdier new hand guards and a new chain guide. The saddle and handlebars are also higher, with the ergonomics perfectly suited to stand-up riding.

The spoked wheels have a narrow Ergal channel and are fitted with tube tyres, while the Kayaba suspension, with its extra-long 240 mm of travel, boasts internal components dedicated to enduro applications. The engine has been subject to a range of updates and now features more direct mapping, designed for off-road driving requirements. The magnificent exhaust by SC Project with a titanium silencer completes the package. The weight of the bike has been slashed to just 199 kg in running order.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the other exciting new arrival to be unveiled at MBE: one of the most eagerly-awaited bikes of the new season. The new Tuono 457 is an irreverent, non-conformist bike that brings all the fun and technology of the Aprilia Tuono to a young, enthusiastic crowd, including some first-time riders. The record-breaking power-weight ratio (159 kg dry weight for 35kW of power) - the absolute maximum for a bike that can be ridden with an A2 licence - makes the ride supremely fun and dynamic but also easy, as well as being affordable, in true Tuono tradition.

The bike also boasts first-in-class technical characteristics: aluminium frame (the only one in the segment) and superior electronics, including Ride by Wire throttle, three riding modes, ABS and traction control. The Tuono 457 is powered by a cutting-edge, generous parallel twin-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 47.6 hp at 9,400 rpm and torque of 43.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm - 82 % of which is already available at 3,000 rpm.

The Factory branding identifies the most exclusive, sophisticated versions of Aprilia's sports bikes, adored by fans for their racing-derived technological finesse, which translates into a unique riding experience both on the track and on the road. Now, the new RS 660 is also available in Factory set-up, with multi-adjustable Öhlins suspension.

All versions of the RS 660 have been subject to important new developments: The new winglets increase stability, while the on-board electronic system now features launch control and a colour instrument panel.

The more powerful 105 hp engine and ultra-low running weight of 183 kg further improve the power-to-weight ratio of the bike. The Tuono 660 Factory has been subject to the same updates; this roadster is designed for fun on the road and in urban environments, thanks to its high handlebar and specially-designed ergonomics. Elsewhere, the new Aprilia V4 Factory bikes have reiterated their leading status in the world of superbikes, equipped with solutions that are directly derived from Aprilia's MotoGP experience.

The 2025 version of the Aprilia RSV4 Factory is the most powerful type-approved, mass-produced sports bike in the world, courtesy of its 220 hp V4 engine; it also features all-new aerodynamics, with MotoGP-style winglets to increase stability and grip on corners. The RSV4 Factory is equipped with the latest-general electronic control systems with adaptive and predictive functions, designed to adjust the way the active controls intervene in a calibrated, controlled manner, in accordance with the track conditions and riding style.

The Tuono V4 Factory also features new, advanced aerodynamics, a new APRC electronic control package with predictive functions and a new instrument panel. The power of the V4 engine has been increased to 180 hp, which can be fully enjoyed thanks to the frame and suspension - the fruit of Aprilia's experience on racetracks around the world.

Also landing at the MBE event are the new 2025 bikes for the youngest riders, beginning with the legendary "eighth of a litre" engine capacity models: the RS 125, the Tuono 125, the RX 125 and the SX 125, representing an entry point to the world of Aprilia for younger riders with both road and all-terrain versions, the widest choice on the market for every riding style.

APRILIA UNVEILS ITS 2025 RACING PROGRAMMES AT MBE - THE TRUE GATEWAY TO RACING. In Verona, Aprilia presents the Aprilia Racing RS 660 Trophy, as well as the Aprilia Racing RS 457 Trophy, the latter of which is all new for 2025. The two competitions for the youngest riders represent a gateway to competitive motorcycling. Above all, the all-new RS 457 Trophy has been designed to encourage new talents to race and be discovered. The two trophies, supported by the Italian Motorcycling Federation, will be held on the country's best tracks, including Misano, Imola and Cremona. The race-ready bikes will be on display at the MBE event, along with the full racing calendars and all necessary information, at the dedicated corner on the Aprilia stand.

NEW FROM MOTO GUZZI. Moto Guzzi chooses the MBE 2025 in Verona to showcase its entire 2025 range of motorbikes, created in Mandello del Lario. The V7 range has been comprehensively overhauled and now boasts a new model bearing a legendary name, and not only for Moto Guzzi fans - it is one of the most famous Italian motorbikes in the world.

The new Moto Guzzi V7 Sport makes its début - the most dynamic, high-tech V7 ever. With its double front disc brake and inverted fork, the V7 Sport immediately stands out from the crowd. It boasts an inertial platform, Ride by Wire electronic throttle and dedicated Sport riding mode. Moto Guzzi's most iconic model has evolved whilst maintaining its authentic appeal, courtesy of its timeless styling, characterised by the metal tank and the inimitable design of its sculptural 90° transverse V-twin engine, offering increased performance with the same unique character. In addition to ABS, traction control and cruise control also come as standard on all bikes across the whole V7 range.

The Moto Guzzi space at the MBE event will also host the latest Stelvio and V85 bikes. The legendary V85 road enduro comes in three versions: the V85 TT, the V85 TT Travel and the V85 Strada, three bikes with a very different character, set-up and performance, united by their mission - to voyage far and wide.

The Moto Guzzi Stelvio pays tribute to the famous Alpine pass that gives the bike its name, with the incredible Stelvio Duecento Tributo version. Opened in 1825, the Stelvio Pass is the highest in Europe at 2,758 metres, and with 48 hairpin bends and stunning scenery, has become a universal symbol of adventure tourism, as well as a must-see destination for every motorcycling fan. A limited, numbered run of 2,758 models of the Stelvio Duecento Tributo have been created - paying homage to the height of the pass - distinguished by the dedicated colours and comprehensive equipment provided as standard.
