Milan, 1st October 2018 – These are the main motorcycles novelties for the 2019 that the Piaggio Group will be presenting at Intermot 2018, the Cologne motorcycle international fair (open to the public from 3 to 7 October): Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory MY19, Aprilia Shiver 900 MY19, Aprilia RSV4 RR MY19, Moto Guzzi V85 TT, Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport.
The Factory version adopts the most advanced electronic suspension system available on the market; higher performance and precision both on the track and on the road, with a significant improvement in comfort as well. The Tuono V4 range represents the state-of-the-art in technology: the sophisticated electronic management includes the advanced dynamic controls package with APRC, Cornering ABS, Quick Shift active even in downshifting, Pit Limiter and Cruise Control. The 175 HP V4 engine and the racing frame provide unparalleled performance. Attractive new graphics for both Tuono V4 1100 RR and Tuono V4 1100 Factory.
The most recent evolution of the sport naked from Noale is powered by a refined 900 cc twin-cylinder that guarantees torque values at the top of the category. Performance combined with an absolutely top shelf frame for a rideability that raises the bar to new heights in the naked sport bike segment. An intuitive, powerful, easy to handle bike and now even more technological thanks to the new integrated navigation system in the instrument cluster. Also available in the limited 35 KW power version for riders with an A2 driver’s license.
The result of an extraordinary and winning project, the RSV4 was born out of Aprilia’s successful racing experience and sets the bar in terms of sportiness and performance. It is the fastest RSV4 ever, thanks to the Öhlins suspension systems, the braking system and the APRC electronic controls package that includes Cornering ABS and the downshifter. The 201 HP engine combines with a seven-time World Superbike Champion chassis architecture. News: the RR makes its début in two new attractive graphic designs.
Moto Guzzi takes a step towards the future, a homage to the quintessence of travel, dedicated to motorcyclists who do not stop when they reach the end of the asphalt. Announcing the 80 HP twin cylinders, the new technical platform around which Moto Guzzi will be developing a new family of motorcycles.
The new special series of the sport custom from the Eagle brand reveals the aggressive and racing side of its character, drawing inspiration from the flat track races that originated the legendary Bobber phenomenon. Lowered single-seat saddle, Öhlins shock absorbers, slip-on exhaust and a brand new look enhance the bold spirit of a unique motorcycle.
