The technology and touring vocation so typical of the Vespa GTS family meet the history and true sporting tradition of the Vespa. Announcing the exclusive Vespa Sei Giorni, a special version, produced in a numbered edition, heir to the original eponymous Vespa Sport “Sei Giorni”.
A model that became a legend, built specifically for the gruelling “Six Days International” time trial in Varese in 1951, where it was the undisputed protagonist, earning 9 gold medals.
Subdivided into groups over six test days (9 - 13 and 16 October 2017), Italian and European journalists had the opportunity to ride the scooter on a route leaving from Varese and travelling for approximately 100 km, following part of the original competition route from 66 years ago, notably the section from Cittiglio to the Cuvignone pass. With challenging climbs and descents, bends and hairpins (tarmacked today, but once just dirt tracks), the Vespa Sei Giorni gave them all a hugely enjoyable and completely safe experience, winning unanimous approval.
