RACE FOR THE TITLE STILL WIDE OPEN WITH MAZZIOTTO, BARRY, AND DE KEYREL ON APRILIA RS660 IN THE TOP 5 OF THE OVERALL STANDINGS FOR THE CATEGORY. NEXT AND FINAL RACE: AT BARBER MOTOSPORTS PARK IN ALABAMA ON 23 AND 24 SEPTEMBER.

September 2022 – At New Jersey Motorsports Park, in the penultimate round of the 2022 MotoAmerica Championship Twins Cup class, brilliant performances by the Aprilia riders with an amazing five RS660 machines in the top 6 positions. Teammates Benjamin Gloddy (#72) and Teagg Hobbs (#79), both riding for team Robem Engineering, finished on the podium respectively in 2nd and 3rd place, whilst the battle for the title is still wide open.

In fact, in the overall standings, three Aprilia riders are title contenders, seated among the top five positions, with Anthony Mazziotto close behind the leader, just ahead of Jody Barry in 3rd place and Kaleb De Keyrel in 4th.

Performance in the previous round on 19-21 August at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Wampum, Pennsylvania, was less fortunate, where the fierce Aprilia riders still finished in the top ten. In Race 2, Kaleb De Keyrel (bike No. 1) finished 5th ahead of Benjamin Gloddy (#72) in 6th place, Teagg Hobbs (#79) in 7th place, Jody Barry (#11) in 9th place, and Anthony Mazziotto (#516) in 10th place.
