Marco Bezzecchi is ready to battle in the top positions after another solid performance at Balaton Park, where he finished third in the long race. This was the Italian rider seventh podium of the season, including the victory in Silverstone, which confirms his increasingly solid feeling with the RS-GP25.

Jorge Martín, on the other hand, will be continuing on his path of adaptation with more and more encouraging signs. In Hungary he finished fourth in the long race after coming back an amazing twelve positions. Lorenzo Savadori will also be on the track, riding his first wild card of the season, where he’ll be focusing on developing the RS-GP25.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a highly technical track, where skilful navigation of the corners proves to be decisive. It is 4.66km long, with 8 right-handers and 6 left-handers. The first braking section is also significant – one of the most demanding in World Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing – partly because of the 1,047 metre straight that precedes it.

Above all, I just really want to get back on the bike. As always, we’ll be trying to give our best. Let’s go, Aprilia!”
JORGE MARTÍN, #1: “I can’t wait to get to Barcelona. I have many fond memories from last year. This is a track that I really like, where I have always done well in recent years.

I’m beginning to feel more comfortable on the bike now, and I think that this will be an important race for continuing to build confidence, gain familiarity with the bike, and carry on with our path following the same approach we had in Balaton.”
LORENZO SAVADORI, #32: “Barcelona is a track where we’ve always done well in the past. During the recent tests in Montmeló, we tested several interesting solutions that we’ll be bringing to the track.

We’ll continue developing the bike throughout this race weekend, and I can’t wait until Friday to get back out on the track.”
