Milan, 22 September 2026 - It has been an extraordinary season for the Aprilia RS 660 in the Italian Sportbike. At the Cremona Circuit, Filippo Bianchi was crowned national champion in the class dedicated to middleweight production bikes, thanks to his victory in the Superpole Race. A major success that adds to the title won in MotoAmerica's equivalent Twins Cup, proving the strength of the Aprilia RS 660 both nationally and internationally.

In the fifth and penultimate round of the season at Cremona (19-20 September; next and last round in Vallelunga, 10-11 October 2026), the talent born in 2005 from the MMP Velocità team proved fast right from the first free practice session, confirming his great feeling aboard his Aprilia RS 660 and taking pole position. On Saturday, Bianchi sealed the day with an important victory in Race 1, which virtually locked up the title. On Sunday morning, following the Superpole Race, it became official thanks to his second win of the weekend.
Filippo Bianchi has taken the title with one round to spare, wrapping up a great season in style with an impressive seven wins out of eleven races.

This victory confirms the competitiveness of the Aprilia RS 660 and the excellent work carried out by the MMP Velocità team in the Italian championship. Added to this is Filippo's raw talent, whose achievements also include winning the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy in 2024.

The success of the Aprilia RSV4 1100 in the CIV Superbike class during the Cremona weekend is also worth highlighting, thanks to Luca Bernardi. He secured a solo victory in Race 1 on a track that was new to all the Italian Championship competitors.

Furthermore, the iconic Bol d'Or—the final round of the Endurance World Championship (EWC, four round from April to September) — took place over the past weekend (Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, France). The REVO-M2 team competed in the Superstock category with an Aprilia RSV4 1100 ridden by Kevin Calia, Simone Saltarelli, Flavio Ferroni and Mathieu Gines. Despite crashing in the first hour of the race, the team repaired the bike in record time and returned to the track, eventually recovering to sixth place.

However, a crash after eight hours brought a definitive end to the REVO-M2 team's race, despite them proving competitive throughout the entire weekend.
