Misano (Italy), 8 September 2026 – Aprilia Racing makes another stop in Italy, this time at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, for the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera, the fourteenth round of the Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Championship season.
After the intense Aragón weekend, Jorge Martín heads to Misano leading the overall standings with 256 points, aiming to build on his confidence aboard the RS-GP26 and get back to battling for the top spots.

Marco Bezzecchi arrives in Misano after his positive weekend in Aragon, where he secured two third-place finishes despite still being affected by the injury sustained at the Sachsenring. The Italian rider will tackle his home race with every intention of confirming the competitiveness he has demonstrated in the last two Grand Prix.

The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is a technical track with numerous direction changes between turns and chicanes. The layout winds clockwise over 4.23 km with a total of 16 turns – 10 righthanders and 6 lefthanders. Notable among these is Turn 11, the renowned 'Curvone' (‘big turn’), a particularly fast section where riders reach speeds of around 240 km/h.

JORGE MARTÍN, #89: “The Misano GP is always special when you are on an Italian team and, along with Aprilia and the fans, I’m sure it will be a great weekend. We are heading to a track that I like after doing a good job in Aragón, and we have clear objectives. Leading the standings is important for the entire Aprilia team, but we’ve already seen that, given the close gaps, it is neither a priority nor a determining factor. We need to keep focusing on our work. I can’t wait to get on the RS-GP26 and do my best at Aprilia’s home race.”

MARCO BEZZECCHI, #72: “I’m extremely happy to be going to Misano. It will be fantastic to finally see all our fans again, although it will undoubtedly be a demanding weekend. I can’t wait to get back on the track on my RS-GP26.”

THE NEW COMMERCIAL FROM STERILGARDA, SPONSOR OF APRILIA RACING.
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A RIDER MILKING A COW…?

Translation of the news: A new video production has emerged from the collaboration between Sterilgarda, Aprilia Racing, and Tetra Pak: a commercial that depicts the meeting of two seemingly worlds apart—the adrenaline of speed and the authenticity of mountain life. The stars are two Aprilia Racing riders who, while taking a morning walk through the valleys, encounter an unexpected surprise: waiting for them in a mountain hut is former motorcycle racing champion Max Biaggi, ready to involve them in a decidedly unconventional "training session." Far from the racetracks and the adrenaline of competition, the two riders try their hand at a brand-new activity: milking a cow. It is a lighthearted, humorous moment that upends expectations, transforming their initial bewilderment into a sense of camaraderie and genuine fun—perfectly in tune with the slow, authentic pace of mountain life.
