Mugello racetrack, Scarperia (Florence, Italy), 14 May 2018 – It was a great surprise for motorcycle fans who came to Mugello for the Aprilia Racers Days 2018. Loris Capirossi was among them, ready to jump into the saddle of an Aprilia RSV4. The triple World Champion shared the box with fans and then took a spin on the spectacular Tuscan racetrack, getting the utmost performance out of his V4 Aprilia.
He took the time to talk about it when his ride was over, as bikers always do: “Testing the RSV4 RF in Mugello was a fantastic experience,” Capirossi commented; “it's a really great bike to ride. I felt at home in the saddle right away, and the engine performs very well; you can feel the excellent connection with the throttle grip.
And then, it’s tremendously fast for a factory-made bike: riding it puts a smile on the face of even an experienced driver like me! It was very exciting to ride an Aprilia MotoGP in Misano last year, and it was just as exciting to test their top road model today. I had a lot of fun, and I’ll definitely be riding it on the track again!”
The Aprilia’s Racers Days offer fans a total experience of the world of Aprilia Racing. The 2018 calendar includes nine more events between now and September, on world-class racetracks such as Misano, Mugello and Imola, testing exclusive Aprilia RSV4 RF and Tuono V4 1100 Factory bikes. Younger visitors can also take a test ride on the Tuono 125. And for those who want to improve their performance on the racetrack in perfect safety, “Riding Academy” driving courses are available.
