Assen, 24 June 2017–An agreement between the Piaggio Group and Tribul Networks LLC will see the promotion of the innovative Tribul | Mastercard® MotoGP™ programme extended through a proud partnership with Aprilia Racing. Shared values of passion, speed, safety and innovation unite the Aprilia Racing project and the MotoGP™ Supplier of Payment Solutions – which employs advanced digital technology for maximum payment security – in a long-term relationship based on technological excellence.
Aprilia Racing was chosen for its ability to directly engage MotoGP™ fans with the payment solution. To promote the product and its benefits, Tribul | Mastercard® will be visible on the bodywork of the Aprilia RS-GP machines ridden by Aleix Espargaró and Sam Lowes at the Assen MotoGP™ event this weekend.
MotoGP™ fans who choose to become Tribul | Mastercard® MotoGP™ cardholders will have the opportunity to earn numerous awards, including exclusive VIP access to MotoGP™ races and a series of incentives connected with the Aprilia Racing team and the Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship.
The Piaggio Group will also work together with the people responsible for the Tribul | Mastercard® product on developing new payment solutions and upfront rewards in order to simplify and facilitate purchases of motorcycles, scooters and accessories. The key focus will be on appealing to young people, who are particularly attentive to and interested in the most innovative digital technologies.
Romano Albesiano, Aprilia Racing manager, commented: “It is with great satisfaction, both on the part of Aprilia Racing and the Piaggio Group, that we are launching the partnership with Tribul | Mastercard®. Two international brands, important and prestigious, join forces to strengthen the project of returning the brand to the top of the World Championship Racing world. The interest of Tribul | Mastercard® in Aprilia demonstrates the solidity, attraction and credibility of this programme. It is certainly motivation to always do better, but at the same time it is recognition of the work done thus far. Less than a year and a half after the RS-GP made it's début, our project, the youngest in the entire premier class, is showing clear signs of development. This partnership, which is based on the shared values of growth and innovation, makes us stronger and even more determined to strive for results.”
Dan Ballistieri, Tribul Networks LLC, said: “We’re excited to announce this partnership and to extend the reach we have already established in MotoGP™ through our Payment Solutions Supplier relationship. The innovative approach that Piaggio Group takes in everything it does, from development of technology to its pioneering Fast Forward programme and, of course, its Aprilia Racing MotoGP™ project made them the perfect partner for the Tribul | Mastercard® product. We look forward to working closely with the Piaggio Group and Aprilia Racing to deliver rewards and a better payment experience for motorcycle enthusiasts and MotoGP™ fans globally.”
