Milan, 10 June 2020 - After competitive motorcycling came to a grinding halt at every level, the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy is ready to resume. The anxiously awaited 2020 edition of the Eagle single brand championship - dedicated to teams of two riders astride the easy and fun Moto Guzzi V7 III - will start on 18 July at Vallelunga circuit (Italy), forum for the first of three intense weekends during which the five spectacular “mini-endurance” races will be held.
The way each individual round is organised will be defined in full observance of the Covid-19 anti-contagion standards, thanks to the efforts of the Italian Motorcycling Federation and Moto Guzzi, who continue to make the health of all enthusiasts the top priority.

And so, the protagonists will once again be the friendship, passion and fun of a Trophy which enjoyed resounding success in 2019, thanks to a formula as simple as it is intriguing and a bike that is easy to ride on the track. DJ Ringo can attest to this, one of the many participants in the first edition, who can't wait to get back to racing “guzzista” style: “We’ll finally be able to get back on the track with our V7s. In 2019 we had some great weekends, with races that were real, but easily accessible to all, from beginners to the most expert riders, and a paddock full of friends. It was a nice surprise even for me. I made friends with a lot of enthusiasts. I can’t wait to get back on the track, also because the 2020 Trophy formula promises to be even more fun, with some longer races and even a night race. I’ll be there and I’ll see you there!”

The 2020 edition will also include five races which, however, will be held over three weekends. The opening round will be Saturday the 18the and Sunday the 19th of July at Vallelunga (double race), continuing then on the 5th and 6th of September on the Adria track (another double race), whereas the grand finale is confirmed for Misano on 11 October.

RACE CALENDAR 2020.

A championship over a limited time span but without sacrificing the ingredients which made the first edition a unique experience for wide variety and large number of motorcyclists, many of whom were on their first approach to track racing.
It will be an even more accessible Trophy, with fewer transfers and with the registration fee for the entire championship dropping to € 1,000 per Team (therefore, the equivalent of € 100 per rider per race). Preferential registration for the entire Trophy is not possible until 30 June. Alternatively, you can register for each individual round: € 450 per Team for the weekends with double races and € 350 for the Misano round, with registration open until 15 days prior to the race.

One of the most spectacular changes for the second edition has also been confirmed. In fact, one of the races scheduled in September on the Adria circuit will be held in the evening, with the floodlights - and the V7 III headlights, mounted only for this particular occasion - lighting up the track. This is another fascinating throwback to the legendary endurance races of the past, exactly like the spectacular “Le Mans” style start, with the bikes lined up on one side of the track and the riders who must cross the track from the other side at the start to get in the saddle and set off.
It will be precisely the night race scheduled for Adria on Saturday evening to mark the first extended 90-minute “mini-endurance” race, a format which will be repeated for the final round at Misano, whereas at Vallelunga and for the Sunday daytime race at Adria, duration will remain at 60 minutes.
