FROM THE SWISS JURA TO ALSACE IN FRANCE AND INTO GERMANY’S BLACK FOREST: THREE DAYS IMMERSED IN STUPENDOUS SCENERY
Three days on a Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 for a memorable trip through the Swiss Jura and Alsace, also venturing into Germany's Schwarzwald, the Black Forest. The “Green Weekend” adventure was devised by reporter Giorgio Di Marco, an expert in motorcycle travel and a passionate Guzzi biker. His “proposal” is an excellent way to immerse oneself in nature, surrounded by stunning landscapes, mountain plains, lakes and charming villages. Here is his video, which has attracted many admiring comments.Green Weekend on Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200

Giorgio has his own YouTube channel – Gioraid Channel – where he posts his fascinating and well-made travel videos documenting places and itineraries, and providing ideas for bikers who can't wait to get their motorcycles out of the garage and answer the immediate question: where shall we go this weekend? Giorgio’s green tour is highly recommended. If you have few extra days of holiday, take a look at his videos to choose your next destination.Gioraid Youtube Channel
Starting from Switzerland where he lives, our Guzzi biker Giorgio Di Marco has made many trips on his Moto Guzzi bike: Malta, Norway, Spain, Iceland, Greece, Ireland are just some of the places he’s visited, eating up the miles and meeting up with other Guzzi devotees at rallies around Europe. His constant travel companion is his trusted Stelvio.
Giorgio tells us about himself on his website: “I consider myself a traveller: in my short life, I've already toured half of the world. I began travelling round Europe by train when I was 18, then by car, then I began flying to other continents, chiefly south-east Asia and Australia, where, on my second trip I stopped for 9 months... While I was in Sydney I dreamt about going home on a motorbike. But it wasn’t possible and I flew home. As soon as I got back, I bought a Guzzi NTX 650, which I still have, and dreamed about going back to Australia on it. Over the years, I’ve travelled a great deal on a motorbike, especially in Europe (on a Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200, ed.), and riding to the other side of the world is still a dream, which perhaps I’ll achieve one day.”

AND FRANÇOIS ON A STELVIO NTX ON THE CIRCUIT IN AUSTIN, TEXAS
Then there are people like François F., who, on his Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX, actually rode a lap round the Circuits of the Americas racetrack in Austin, Texas, which hosts the US Grand Prix for Formula 1 world championship cars and MotoGP two-wheelers. The Guzzi biker has produced an “on-board” video clip on the “world” circuit. Let's enjoy it.
