The event marking the 70th anniversary of the Ets TRACQUI & Fils company, 1948-2018, the Piaggio Group’s “historic” importer in Tahiti, French Polynesia, was a great success. Chairman Vaea Bartot Tracqui tells us more: “We organised a large celebration, open to everyone, with Vespa rallies, live music, entertainment, prize competitions, a display of vintage and current vehicles, artists decorating Vespa scooter liveries and much more. The event was held on 18 November 2018, at the Parc Vairai, and the central theme was the Vespa and the people of Tahiti.” The celebration began with a large parade of Vespa riders from the Tracqui showroom to the Parc Varai. In short, a super party for Vespa lovers of all ages.
The video cartoon inviting everyone to the big event is great fun, and the official 70-year video and the photos taken at the party (attended by models from the latest Vespa campaign) are fascinating.
So let’s enjoy the “celebratory” material produced by the importer, and re-live Tahiti’s unforgettable Vespa-happening.
