October 2022 – This special, hand made by Massimo Rinchiuso, the beating heart of Fuchs Workshop in Ravenna, is not only superb, but it also tells a beautiful story. It just so happened that a customer brought a 1979 Moto Guzzi 1000 SP to the workshop in Ravenna to be restored, entirely disassembled and placed in four crates. The customizer fell in love and purchased it, rebuilding it in accordance with his own highly personal creative fancy, supported by his solid technical expertise.
A big job, especially in terms of chassis modification, engine repositioning, hand crafted refurbishing of the swingarm, installation of a pair of modern Öhlins shock absorbers, custom made aluminium rims, body components custom built for the occasion, and many other “inventions” and technical upgrade, with painstaking attention to every detail. This is the motto of superfine customizer Massimo Rinchiuso.
From the drawing board to the result, all the efforts to make this café racer truly unique were certainly well worth it. And the final touch was the choice of an “important” name that is also a grandson’s tribute to his grandfather, Enzo, who inspired Massimo’s passion for motors. After all, we are in the Italian “land of motors” (Emilia-Romagna region) with deep motoring roots. And the tradition continues. “Costruita a mano in Italia” (Built by hand in Italy) appears on the tank. Nothing to add besides admiration.
