October 2024 – The Porter NP6 MY 2025 by Piaggio Commercial made its international début at the IAA Transportation 2024 event in Hannover, Germany (17-22 September), a high-profile showcase where the new Porter NP6 attracted the attention and garnered the appreciation of industry professionals and visitors alike. A judicious choice, as the figures confirm: the 2024 edition of the German trade fair was a resounding success, showcasing an industry sector that is setting new standards in terms of investment and innovation.
IAA Transportation is the world's leading platform for the commercial vehicle, logistics and transport sectors: the event brought together nearly 1,700 exhibitors from 41 countries, a 21% increase over 2022. International participation hit a record 72%, with over 145 world and European premieres presented, and around 145,000 visitors from across the world: an increase of around 10% compared to 2022. And, in addition to the figures that testify to record levels of interest, the event also conveyed a clear message: the sector is relaunching and developing through innovative products that meet the requirements of the markets.

In this competitive, challenging and stimulating environment, the Porter NP6 was at its best: a red livery of the TW MY 2025 Chassis 3000 SR LPG model was on display at the Piaggio Commercial stand. This appearance was organised in collaboration with the German subsidiary Piaggio Deutschland, resulting in a winning synergy that provided visitors (operators, institutions, companies) with a comprehensive overview of the Porter NP6 range: the compact, high-performance, eco-friendly city truck.
