8 June 2022 – Last weekend, the 2022 MotoAmerica Championship made a stop at the Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. A true festival of motorsport that lasted three days, from 3 to 5 June, complete with spectators and a great show on the track, with races in eight different categories. And it was an extremely plentiful entry list with a total of more than 200 riders participating! And the Superbikes-Twins Cup class ended up being the most crowded with no fewer than 46 riders, 13 of which racing on Aprilia RS 660 machines with various racing teams. The competitive Aprilia RS 660 units are the only Italian bikes, whereas all the others are Japanese brands.

In this extremely competitive category, the Aprilia RS 660 bikes are at the top, dominating in the standings. Jody Barry (Veloce Racing team, bike No. 11), 24 years old, native of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, who already won in the previous round in Virginia, took another two podiums in P1 and P2, thereby racking up four wins in a row and confirming his role as the favourite for the title.
Jody is now dominating in the standings with 131 points ahead of Anthony Mazziotto, also on Aprilia RS 660 (Rodio Warhorse HSBK Racing), as is Teagg Hobbs (Robem Engineering Aprilia team) who is currently 5th in the overall standings.
