Little more than a year since its commercial launch, Aprilia RS 660 is already celebrating its first important sporting milestone, with success in the States, the Italian sports bike having dominated the 2021 edition of the Twins Cup. This hard-fought US series dedicated to mid-sized twins is part of MotoAmerica, the most important motorcycle championship in the USA.
To celebrate this victory, Aprilia presents a special numbered, 1500-unit edition of RS 660, which stands out for its brand-new stars and stripes livery inspired by the US flag and an exclusive trim, which includes the single-seat tail cover, bigger top fairing and software that allows for the quick shift gearing to be reversed. The Eagle manufacturer celebrates its exclusive, high-profile collaboration with the Cuirassier Regiment, a partnership that has continued uninterrupted for 75 years, by presenting the Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d’Onore. A special limited and numbered edition of the highly sought-after classic travel enduro that became part of the Head of State's Honour Guards' motorcycle pool in the very year that Moto Guzzi celebrated its centenary.
Just like the V85 TTs delivered to the Head of State at the Quirinale Palace, the V85 TT Guardia d’Onore features the typical black livery with white graphics that characterise the Cuirassiers' Moto Guzzi machines. The white decoration runs along the front mudguard, continues onto the fuel tank and the side panels and is also picked up on the oversized Touring windscreen. The latter is part of the standard equipment package, along with the centre stand, the engine guard bars and the supplementary LED lights. Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d’Onore is available as a limited series of 1946 units, a number that clearly evokes the first of the 75 years of union between the Mandello Eagle and the Cuirassier Regiment.
