27 June 2022 – The domination of the Aprilia RS660 machines in the Twins Cup MotoAmerica 2022 championship continues, the only Italian bikes participating. The MotoAmerica Twins Cup is one of the most exciting and competitive categories, with fast riders astride two-cylinder bikes making daring passes and thrilling the public. At the Ridge Motosports Park round (in Shelton, Washington state), Anthony Mazziotto, the twenty-one-year-old New Jersey native (bike No. 516, Rodio Warhorse HSBK Racing) dominated in both races and is now just 14 points behind overall championship leader Jody Barry (bike No. 11, Veloce Racing team), who is also on an Aprilia RS660. They are followed by the other Aprilia riders, Kaleb de Keyrel (5th place) and Teagg Hobbs (6th).

It was a fabulous weekend for Anthony Mazziotto. He started from pole position, battled, took two wins out of two (his first two championship wins this season), and is now back in the battle for the top spot in the championship.

And, the cherry on top, as Twins Cup Polesitter, Anthony Mazziotto also won the WILBUR Pole position Award for having been the fastest to qualify in the Twins Cup category, receiving a specially modified and ultra-limited edition WILBUR Speed Shop version of the WILBUR Launch Edition automatic watch, a prestigious watch that he appreciated greatly. WILBUR is the official timekeeper of the MotoAmerica championship.
