The Piaggio Foundation, a virtuous association between enterprise and culture, is a candidate in the “Mecenati of the XXI Century” contest, promoted by the Italian Ministry for Culture, the Luiss Business School, Confindustria, Museimpresa, Ales and pptArt, with the patronage of the European Community (2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage). Two years ago, the contest was called the Corporate Art Awards and the Piaggio Foundation was the winner in the Social category, for the best engagement of Social Media.
Many important world business names are taking part in the 2018 contest with their art collections; the Piaggio Foundation can count on the Piaggio Museum (Italy's largest and most complete motorcycle museum, with its fascinating collections combining design and technology), on its rich Historical Archive and of course on the international fame of Vespa, the Piaggio Group’s iconic product. So the Foundation is aiming to repeat its previous success in the Social category.
